Wythe County, Virginia is seeking expressions of interest from consulting engineering firms who wish to be considered to provide professional engineering services for:
Professional Design of a Railroad Crossing Signal with Arms.
Wythe County, Virginia anticipates awarding to a qualified prime consultant firm as a result of this Request for Proposal. The contracts will be negotiated and awarded in accordance with the procedure set forth in the current Manual for the Procurement & Management of Professional Services at the time of advertisement.
Wythe County, Virginia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received as a result of this request, to negotiate with any qualified firm or to modify or cancel in part or in its entirety the Request for Proposal if it is in the best interest of Wythe County, Virginia do so. This Request does not commit Wythe County Virginia to provide any payment for costs associated with the preparation of proposals submitted in response to this Request for Proposal.

PROCUREMENT SCHEDULE
CONFLICT OF INTEREST:
The change in a project delivery method for this contract may result in a potential conflict of interests for the consultant and any of its team members. As such, the scope of services and their role may be revised and redefined to meet the project need as identified by Wythe County, Virginia. The consultant and its team members may not be allowed to participate in ANY subsequent contracts (design and/or construction) related to this project. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Wythe, Virginia requests independent certified public accountants to submit proposals to enter into a term contract to perform a financial audit and prepare an annual cost allocation plan for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2025 through 2029. Wythe County, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for Wythe County Circuit Court Roof Recovery - Phase II according to Bidding Documents prepared by ZMM, Inc. Architects and Engineers. Sealed bids will be received at the offices of the Owner, 340 South Sixth Street, Wytheville, VA 24382, until 3:30 p.m., local time, on April 24, 2025 at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read. Electronic bids may be submitted online at www.eva.virginia.gov but one single hard copy must be received by the given deadline.
The contract type for this project will be a Lump-Sum Single-Prime Contract.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time, on April 10, 2025 at the offices of the Owner. A tour of the building will follow immediately after. Attendance at pre-bid conference is mandatory for prime contract bidders only.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, made payable to the Owner, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
Bidders are required under Title 54.1, Chapter 11, Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, to be licensed as a "Class A Contractor" before submitting a bid of one hundred twenty thousand ($120,000) dollars or more; or to be licensed as a "Class B Contractor" before submitting a bid of ten thousand ($10,000) dollars or more but less than one hundred twenty thousand ($120,000) dollars; or be licensed as a "Class C Contractor" before submitting a bid of no more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000).
Each Bidder will be required to give their State Registration Number on their proposal. All non-resident contractors and subcontractors bidding the work described herein shall register with the Department of Labor and Industry under the provisions of Section 40.1-30 of the Code of Virginia.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, the right to waive minor informalities and procedures in bidding, and the right to withhold final award of contract for 60 days after opening bids.
The bidder to whom the contract is awarded shall execute and deliver to the Owner within 10 days after the award, and before signing the contract, a Performance Bond and Payment Bond utilizing the bond forms bound in the Project Manual each in a penal sum equal to at least the contract sum and the cost of such bonds shall be included in the bid.
The Wythe County Emergency Communications Center is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to supply, implement, and support a comprehensive Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system for our 911 Emergency Communications Center. This system will serve as a critical tool for enhancing the operational efficiency, accuracy, and speed of emergency response services across the jurisdiction.

Wythe County, Virginia is requesting proposals for an Integrated Tax Revenue System. The Wythe County Treasurer and Commissioner of the Revenue wish to obtain software and services to replace the County’s current Integrated Tax Revenue system. The selected vendor will provide, implement, and maintain a best-of-breed, commercial-off-the-shelf, preferably cloud-based ITR System that provides an integrated, user-friendly, digital taxpayer experience and satisfactorily enables key revenue generating capabilities for the County.
